Fairwater High School has a strong pastoral team, led by Mr Geoff Dixon, Deputy Head, who work to provide the best possible learning environment for pupils throughout the school.
Each year group has a Progress Manager and Assistant Progress Manager, in addition to a dedicated team of Form Tutors. The role of each Year Team is to support and encourage pupils to achieve their full potential, in all areas of school life.
On a half termly basis, every pupil’s progress is monitored in all subject areas. Pupil Progress Managers then analyse the data and implement strategies to reward or support pupils where necessary. During this process, pupils receive feedback and mentoring from form tutors and subject tutors
Parents / Guardians are welcome to contact the school to arrange an appointment with the Progress Manager to discuss any issues
